What this club is really about
Bromley’s story is not simply that a non-league club got good. It is the collision of two Bromleys: the Hayes Lane remembered by supporters who painted, weeded, sold raffle tickets and watched in crowds counted in the low hundreds, and the increasingly professional operation that won at Wembley, entered the EFL in 2024 and reached League One two years later. The club’s people matter as much as its trophies. Beverly, Wakeling, Roberts and others are now written into the ground itself, while long-serving supporters such as Roy Oliver provide the memory that stops the rise becoming a generic success story.
