BEFORE YOU SET OFF

Put your trip together

01 · Arrive

Your route into Copperjax Community Stadium

Use the away entrance shown on your ticket, not the nearest home turnstiles. Bromley has moved visiting allocations during recent building work: supporters have used both the East Terrace and Glyn Beverly Stand. The stadium is zoned, and you cannot move into another stand after entering. From Bromley South, walk via Masons Hill and Hayes Lane to the ground entrance. Stewards can direct you to the visitor access, which may be around the far side of the stadium complex. Leave time for that extra walk and any ticket checks. For supporters with reduced mobility, request the precise gate and the condition of its approach in advance.

02 · Before the match

Bricklayers Arms

15-minute walk to the ground. Marlowe’s beef burgers and Slap Chicken; useful for a full pub meal without leaving the direct walking route. Management changed in August 2026, so older beer and service reviews are stale. No reliable current venue-specific policy on away colours was found.

03 · Stay or head home?

Choose your base before your hotel

Stay near Bromley South station or the High Street if you want to make a weekend of the match. It leaves you within a walk or short bus journey of Hayes Lane, and it is much more useful for food, pubs and the return train than a room beside the residential stadium approach.

Pub food

Bricklayers Arms

15 min walk

Good for first away-pub choice · groups

The strongest all-round away pub: directly on the walk from Bromley South, repeatedly recommended to visiting fans and now under new management with a proper burger-and-chicken menu.

Expect mixed home-and-away · sports screens · on-route pub

Before you go Management changed in August 2026, so older beer and service reviews are stale. No reliable current venue-specific policy on away colours was found.

Pub food

The Richmal Crompton

20 min walk

Good for train arrivals · large groups

Not the most distinctive stop, but one of the most practical: it is at Bromley South and visiting-club guidance explicitly says away fans are welcome. It suits a group assembling before moving down Masons Hill.

Expect station meet · large pub · budget food

Before you go Under-18s are only allowed until 20:00. No current football-colours restriction was found; use fixture-specific police or club advice if issued.

Food & drink
Breakfast from 8am and the standard full pub menu; useful for large groups prioritising speed, price and a clear meeting point.

Pub food

Crown of Bromley

15 min walk

Good for proper meal · groups

More restaurant-with-bar than classic football boozer, but that is its strength: plenty of seating, live sport and a proper Indian/Chinese menu on the same corridor as the ground. Away guides repeatedly say visitors are welcome.

Expect food led · large seating area · sports screens

Before you go Tuesday-Thursday the kitchen closes 14:30–16:30, relevant to midweek travel. No venue-specific away-colours rule is published.

Food & drink
A full Indian and Chinese menu, including halal meat; a better choice than a snack stop when the group wants a proper meal.

Pub food

The Partridge

20 min walk

Good for proper pub lunch · families before evening

A five-minute detour up the High Street from Bromley South rather than a ground-side stop. Its homemade pies and proper pub menu justify the detour when food matters more than getting as close as possible.

Expect traditional pub · real ale · sit-down food

Before you go Away-fan welcome is reported by guides, not a published football policy. Families are welcome only before 19:30 and Friday/Saturday evenings are strictly over-21.

Food & drink
Homemade pies are the house speciality, with British pub classics and daily specials; a better sit-down lunch than a quick turnstile snack.

Pub food

Broomfields Bar & Kitchen

0 min walk

Good for food at the ground · pre-match pint only when confirmed

The useful ground-side option, but not one to promise. Bromley's generic zoning sends East Stand drinkers here before or after the match, while visiting-club advice in 2026 has alternated between admitting and refusing away supporters.

Expect stadium bar · sports screens · fixture-dependent access

Before you go Check your own fixture guide: Swindon advice in February 2026 said no away fans; Cambridge supporter information in August said Broomfields was available pre-match.

Food & drink
Club-published menu includes burgers, pizza, hot dog and fries, chicken and chips, toasties, nachos, cheesy chips and loaded fries.

matchday food trucks

East Stand food trucks – CopperJax Community Stadium

0 min walk

Good for last-minute food · supporters already through away turnstiles

The only current club-confirmed in-ground food line useful to the East Stand: food trucks open with the turnstiles. The club does not name the operators or menu, so eat in town if choice or value matters.

Expect inside ground · quick food · limited published detail

Before you go The club says no alcohol is served in the East Stand. One independent guide mentions East Terrace beer, so the official club information should take precedence.

Food & drink
Current club information confirms food trucks but does not publish operators, dishes, prices or queue information.

Mexican-style street food

Trio Tacos

15 min walk

Good for quick meal · non-pub food

The sharpest quick-food stop on the direct route: next to the main away-pub cluster, with tacos, burritos, bowls and loaded sides rather than generic football food. It is designed around speed and choice.

Expect fast casual · street food · on route

Before you go No football-specific colours or away-fan policy was found. Current listings show Friday/Saturday service through late evening, but matchday queues are unverified.

Food & drink
Beef birria tacos, burritos, rice bowls, loaded nachos and fries; the best-researched quick non-pub meal on the direct route.

halal cafe, street food, wraps, breakfast and pizza

SnugBite

Good for budget food · halal choice

A useful independent High Street alternative before the walk: 100% halal, with karak chai, wraps, kebab rolls, chaat and breakfast rather than another pub menu. It also caters for groups and family gatherings.

Expect independent cafe · halal · quick food

Before you go No football-specific admission or colours guidance was found. It is a town-centre food stop, not an away-fan venue in the football-pub sense.

Food & drink
Karak chai, channa chaat, samosas, chicken or lamb shish kebab rolls, wraps, breakfast, plus pizzas, wings and burgers.

Greek and Mediterranean

Filoxenia

Good for proper meal · families

For supporters making more of the trip, Filoxenia gives the town-centre food pass a genuine sit-down option: Greek brunch and mains rather than pub food, with enough choice for families or a group staying overnight.

Expect sit down · Greek · family meal

Before you go No football-specific away-fan or colours policy was found; allow restaurant time rather than treating it as a quick pre-turnstile stop.

Food & drink
Greek mains and brunch, including moussaka, kleftiko, gyros, mixed grills, feta dishes and loukoumades.

WHERE TO STAY

Where should you stay?

Choose a base for the football and the rest of your visit.

Where to stay

Stay near Bromley South station or the High Street if you want to make a weekend of the match. It leaves you within a walk or short bus journey of Hayes Lane, and it is much more useful for food, pubs and the return train than a room beside the residential stadium approach. The Bromley South and St Mark’s Square area is especially straightforward if you are arriving by train or driving to a town-centre car park. Hotels farther out around Hayes can suit a quieter or cheaper stay, but involve a less direct rail route and another journey for evening food. Check hotel and parking availability for your actual fixture.

Bromley South station services and category A step-free access ↗

For most visiting supporters, central Bromley is the sensible base: it keeps the match journey short while giving you Bromley South rail, pubs, restaurants and late-evening options. Staying farther north or east can save money or add parking, but usually weakens the post-match convenience.

For the evening

The useful evening cluster is Bromley town centre, especially the High Street/Market Square/Bromley South corridor. The borough retail and leisure study describes Bromley as having a mix of pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants and cultural venues; staying centrally avoids needing another journey after the match.

For the train

Bromley South is the main practical rail base for football trips. Current transport guides put Hayes Lane at roughly a 15-minute walk from the station, and TfL routes 119/146/314 serve the Hayes Road/Hayes Lane corridor for a short bus hop.
