Terms of use

These terms apply across matchdayhotels.com, including all pages, club and matchday guides, researched databases, planning tools and the email-alert service. Matchday Hotels provides independent information and links; it does not directly sell match tickets, hotel rooms, rail tickets, parking or other travel services.

Fixture information can change

Dates, kick-off times, venues, competition details, television selections and match status may change at short notice. Website pages and email alerts are a convenience, not an official guarantee. Always verify the current information with the relevant club, league, association, venue and transport provider before travelling or making a non-refundable purchase.

Email alerts

An alert starts only after the confirmation link is used. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed by internet, mailbox, filtering, quota or provider issues. You remain responsible for checking official sources. You may unsubscribe using the link in any email.

Service alerts, editorial updates and special offers are different choices. Promotional emails are sent only where the separate special-offers option has been selected and confirmed.

Affiliate and commercial links

Some links may be affiliate links. Matchday Hotels may receive a commission when a visitor completes a qualifying purchase, normally without increasing the advertised price. Commercial relationships do not guarantee that a hotel, transport option or offer is suitable for a particular supporter. The current provider's price, availability, cancellation policy and terms apply.

External providers

Hotels, pubs, parking operators, ticket sellers, clubs, transport companies and other linked websites control their own products, information, admission policies, availability, refunds and service. Matchday Hotels is not responsible for an external provider's website or contract with you.

Editorial and supporter material

Official information, independent editorial context, supporter discussion and rumours are labelled separately where practicable. Supporter comments and external forum material should not be treated as verified travel or safety advice.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse forms, attempt to access administration functions, submit unlawful or misleading content, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, or use the mailing list to subscribe another person without permission. The Content and database reuse provisions below also apply independently of any effect on availability.

Availability and liability

The website is provided on an as-available basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to those rights, Matchday Hotels is not responsible for losses caused by relying on outdated third-party information, missed email delivery, an external provider's actions or a visitor's failure to verify official information.

Intellectual property

Original website text, design and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Club names, badges, photographs and third-party material remain the property of their respective owners and are used only where supplied, licensed or otherwise permitted.

Content and database reuse

You may browse the website, share links to its pages and save or print reasonable extracts for your own travel planning. Ordinary search-engine indexing and accessibility tools are permitted, provided they respect access controls and do not republish our researched database or substantial portions of our original editorial material.

Except where permitted by applicable law or an express licence, you must obtain our prior written permission before:

• extracting, copying, downloading or re-utilising all or a substantial part of our researched database, whether manually or through automated means;
• repeatedly and systematically extracting or re-utilising smaller parts where the cumulative activity amounts to taking a substantial part of the database;
• using bots, crawlers, scripts or similar tools to harvest our researched content into a dataset for commercial use, resale, licensing or redistribution;
• commercially republishing, syndicating, selling or licensing substantial portions of our original editorial material or researched database, or using those portions to populate another database, website, app or commercial service.

These restrictions apply even where the activity does not affect the website's performance or availability. Giving attribution or linking back to us does not, by itself, grant permission for a use that otherwise requires it. Permission requests can be made through our contact page.

Nothing in these terms restricts a use permitted by applicable law, including applicable copyright and database-right exceptions, fair dealing, lawful quotation, accessibility uses, permitted non-commercial text and data mining, or a lawful user's entitlement to extract or re-utilise insubstantial parts of a publicly available database. Each exception remains subject to its statutory conditions. These terms do not override a third-party or open-data licence, and we do not claim exclusive ownership of individual facts, club identities or third-party material.

Our original editorial material and the original selection or arrangement of our compilations are protected by copyright where the legal requirements are met. Database rights may also protect qualifying investment in obtaining, verifying or presenting database contents. We reserve the rights that applicable law grants us, without claiming protection for material or activities outside those rights.

Where reasonably necessary to address prohibited activity, we may restrict the relevant automated access and seek remedies available under applicable law. Any measures will respect statutory rights, legitimate browsing and mandatory consumer protections.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated as the service changes. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

Publication requirement: the legal owner or business name and postal contact address should be added before the mailing list is opened publicly.
