Your route into Weston Homes Stadium
For most league fixtures, visiting supporters enter the away allocation in the Kings Power Solutions Stand. Follow the away-supporter signs and the turnstile information printed on your ticket rather than heading to a home entrance. From Peterborough station or the city centre, cross Town Bridge and approach the ground from London Road. From Pleasure Fair Meadow or Railworld, follow the marked pedestrian route towards the stadium, then continue round to your allocated entrance. Large away followings may also receive seats in the GH Display Stand. Peterborough has confirmed that this arrangement changes with demand, so your fixture ticket is the final guide to the correct turnstiles.
On the Road with the U’s: Peterborough United — 21 September 2026 ↗Parking & park-and-ride
Use Pleasure Fair Meadow rather than searching for a free residential bay. It is a council-run matchday car park opposite the ground. You do not normally need to pre-book, but spaces are unreserved, so arrive in good time. For a weekday evening match, Pleasure Fair Meadow is free after 3pm under the council's scheme running to March 2028. For Saturday or Sunday football, budget £6.20 for up to 24 hours. The car park has 316 spaces, and visiting guides put the stadium about five minutes away. Allow longer to reach your actual away entrance. We could not confirm a named unrestricted street suitable for a full match. London Road, Glebe Road, Fairfield Road and Fletton Avenue have residents' bays, while parts of Oundle Road are also permit-controlled. A parking space that looks empty is not necessarily available to visiting supporters. If the nearest car park fills, try the authorised Railworld matchday car park, which takes payment on arrival, or council-operated Railway Sidings on Bittern Way. Railway Sidings costs £6.20 for up to 13 hours at weekends. Railworld has not published a current football-parking price, so check the entrance information. Allow four to five hours for parking, the walk, the match and getting away. Rivergate's ASDA surface car park has a four-hour maximum, and football-use permission was not confirmed. Its multi-storey advertises free weekend parking, but matchday permission and later access also need checking. For bigger fixtures, use your chosen paid backup rather than circling residential roads close to kick-off.
Car park locations and charges ↗Choose your base before your hotel
Stay around Peterborough railway station, Rivergate or Cathedral Square if you want to make a night of the football. These areas keep the mainline station, city-centre pubs and restaurants within walking distance, while the ground is an easy walk across Town Bridge.

From the A1 southbound approach, Peterborough United directs drivers via junction 17, the A1139 Fletton Parkway, A1260 Nene Parkway and A605 Oundle Road. Approaches from the north can use the A47 and A1260. Follow current signs near Town Bridge rather than trying to enter the club's private parking.
Allow extra time around London Road and the bridge before kick-off. The station-area Queensgate roadworks are a separate consideration if you use a city-centre car park instead.

- Parking verdict
- Free council parking is realistic for weekday evening fixtures after 3pm; otherwise use authorised pay-on-day match parking. No named free on-street bay is verified.
- Free option — area
- Pleasure Fair Meadow, Oundle Road, PE2 9PB: free after 3pm Monday–Friday (scheme 3 August 2026–31 March 2028), not free during normal weekend charging hours.
- Legal restrictions — area
- Resident permit bays exist in Zone R (Glebe Road, Fairfield Road, Fletton Avenue, London Road) and Zone N (Oundle Road numbers 29–83); individual bays have their own displayed conditions.
- Matchday availability — area
- Pleasure Fair Meadow is an unreserved 316-space council car park; supporter anecdote suggests it may be affected when a fair uses the area, not proof of a live closure.
- Walk — area
- Pleasure Fair Meadow to stadium approaches about five minutes; allow additional time for away turnstiles.
- Arrive by — area
- Aim to park 60–90 minutes before kick-off; advisory buffer, not a measured availability guarantee.
- Paid fallback
- Pleasure Fair Meadow weekend £6.20 up to 24 hours; Railworld authorised match parking pay on arrival at unconfirmed match tariff; Railway Sidings weekends £6.20 up to 13 hours.
- Booking recommendation
- Advance booking is not a normal requirement for council pay-and-display parking; choose the named site and arrive early, with a second authorised car park in mind.
- Supermarket permission/time limit
- Rivergate ASDA surface car park: free for maximum four hours, stadium parking permission not established. Rivergate multi-storey: advertises free Saturdays/Sundays but stadium-use permission and out-of-hours exit remain unconfirmed.
- Total dwell time
- Plan four to five hours including pre-match arrival, walking both ways, 90 minutes plus half-time/stoppages and post-match departure; illustrative planning allowance.
- After the match
- Pleasure Fair Meadow is beside the stadium and Town Bridge; allow for departing traffic. A farther authorised parking site may involve a longer walk but should not be assumed quicker without live conditions.
- Pleasure Fair Meadow weekday tariff
- Monday–Friday 7am–3pm charges: up to 1h £2.60, 2h £4.10, 24h £6.20; free after 3pm until next chargeable period.

Where to stay
Stay around Peterborough railway station, Rivergate or Cathedral Square if you want to make a night of the football. These areas keep the mainline station, city-centre pubs and restaurants within walking distance, while the ground is an easy walk across Town Bridge. The Rivergate end of the centre is particularly handy if getting to the stadium matters most. A hotel closer to Queensgate or the railway station is a better fit for an early train the following morning. There is little need to stay beside London Road unless you prioritise the shortest possible walk to the match. Compare live room prices on your exact fixture date rather than assuming a standard Saturday rate.
Getting Around Peterborough ↗For most supporters, base yourself in the compact city-centre belt between Wentworth Street, Westgate, Cathedral Square and Broadway. It keeps the station, pre/post-match food and drink, and the ground within walking range. The exception is anyone whose overriding priority is stepping out of the hotel almost straight into the stadium: The Queensgate Hotel is effectively beside the ground, but its current quality and parking-feedback profile is weaker than the better central choices.
For the evening
The better evening base is north of the river in the city centre. Westgate and Cathedral Square give a useful food-and-drink cluster, while Broadway is the clearest late-evening strip; local tourism material describes O'Neill's as sitting at the centre of Peterborough's Broadway nightlife area.
For the train
Peterborough station sits on the western side of the centre. The venue's own events information describes the stadium as about a 10-minute walk from the station; in practice pace and the Town Bridge/road crossings can make a little longer sensible to allow. Park Inn and The Bull are convenient for both station and stadium without requiring a taxi.
