BEFORE YOU SET OFF

Put your trip together

01 · Arrive

Your route into Turf Moor

Head for the Barnfield Construction Stand, the traditional Cricket Field Stand, rather than entering through the home areas on Harry Potts Way. Burnley's current accessibility guide identifies B1 as the visiting-supporter accessible entrance. Follow your ticket and steward directions for the ordinary away turnstiles because the approach arrangements have changed in recent seasons. From the town centre, walk along Yorkshire Street towards Turf Moor, then follow signs around to your allocated away entrance. If you park at Burnley Cricket Club on Belvedere Road, you are already close to the visiting end. Allow extra time for searches and for the final walk around the stadium perimeter.

02 · Before the match

Bridge Bier Huis

12-minute walk to the ground. Food is available during daytime service, but the main reason to choose it is the beer range: changing cask ales, cider and a large imported-bottle and foreign-draught selection. No published away-colours rule was found. Monday and Tuesday opening normally starts at 5pm, although CAMRA says it opens for Burnley home fixtures.

03 · Stay or head home?

Choose your base before your hotel

Stay in Burnley town centre if you want the simplest all-round football trip. The Manchester Road and St James Street area lets you reach Turf Moor on foot and gives you better access to pubs, food, buses and trains after the match.

Haffners Eats

Good for local pie · pie and peas

The most Burnley-specific town-centre food stop: Haffners pies, peas and black pudding inside the market. It is quick, local and better suited to a football lunch than a generic chain meal.

Expect market food · local speciality · quick lunch

Before you go Market hours are daytime only and the stall is not a Sunday option. Haffners supplied Turf Moor in 2025/26, but current-season stadium supply is unconfirmed.

Food & drink
Hot or cold Haffners pies with or without peas, hot or cold black pudding and locally made bakery products. The wider Haffners range includes meat, meat-and-onion, cheese-and-onion, pork and pork-and-black-pudding pies.

WHERE TO STAY

Where should you stay?

Choose a base for the football and the rest of your visit.

Where to stay

Stay in Burnley town centre if you want the simplest all-round football trip. The Manchester Road and St James Street area lets you reach Turf Moor on foot and gives you better access to pubs, food, buses and trains after the match. There is little reason to stay immediately beside the ground unless getting to the turnstiles is your main concern. For a football-first overnight stay, look at accommodation around Yorkshire Street or the stadium side of the centre. If you are driving, a hotel farther west may offer easier motorway access, but you will need to check the car park's overnight conditions. For an evening kick-off, choose your return station and hotel before relying on the walk back or a late bus.

Accessibility information: travel and visiting supporter entrance ↗
