FIXTURE STORY

FOLLOW LEEDS UNITED TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

This fixture is still months away, on 16 January. Today's table is useful background, but it is not a prediction of the positions either side will hold on matchday. If Leeds United are involved in the chase for a higher league finish by then, this could be an away result with real weight behind it.

Leeds United are 7th in the Premier League after 7 league games, with 10 points. Before the season, they were seen as a side with survival to secure. Their position is more encouraging than that starting outlook.

Tottenham Hotspur are 16th in the Premier League after 7 league games, with 6 points. The pre-season outlook had them down as European contenders.

Leeds United's last five recorded league games brought one win, three draws and one defeat: six points from a possible fifteen. Recent results give Tottenham Hotspur six points from a possible fifteen, with one win, three draws and one defeat in their last five league games. Those are results available now; the form heading into this fixture may be very different.

The destination is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Work back from kick-off when deciding whether this is a day trip or a night away. Liverpool Street and Spitalfields are the best all-round compromise: direct rail links run towards White Hart Lane or Northumberland Park, while the area also gives you far more food, pubs and late-evening options than the immediate stadium district. Tottenham Hale makes more sense when simplicity, Stansted access or being able to walk back towards the hotel matters more than nightlife. Check the matchday travel arrangements again nearer the fixture.

Make the football the reason to go and give yourself enough time to enjoy it. Check the confirmed kick-off and ticket arrangements before committing to travel or a hotel, then choose the plan that lets you support Leeds United from the away end without rushing the whole day.

Table and form checked 22 October.

Point A London Liverpool Street

Point A London Liverpool Street

Spitalfields / Liverpool Street

This is the strongest all-round football-trip base. The important point is not simply that it is in central London: Liverpool Street is one of the stations Tottenham specifically recommends for direct services to White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park. Folgate Street also leaves you on the Spitalfields/Shoreditch edge for food and drinks afterwards, without paying full lifestyle-hotel prices.

  • About 0.5 km from Liverpool Street station according to the hotel, giving access to the direct matchday rail routes recommended by Tottenham.
  • Walkable to Spitalfields, Brick Lane and Shoreditch for food and drinks after the match.
The match journey

Not a sensible walk to the stadium. The football-specific advantage is the short walk to Liverpool Street, then direct London Overground to White Hart Lane or Greater Anglia to Northumberland Park. Engineering work can alter the route, so fixture-day travel updates still need checking.

The trade-off

Rooms are intentionally compact and some entry-level rooms are windowless.

WHY STAY HERE?

Point A London Liverpool Street

Spitalfields / Liverpool Street

Our view

This is the strongest all-round football-trip base. The important point is not simply that it is in central London: Liverpool Street is one of the stations Tottenham specifically recommends for direct services to White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park. Folgate Street also leaves you on the Spitalfields/Shoreditch edge for food and drinks afterwards, without paying full lifestyle-hotel prices. The compromise is room size: Point A's own positioning is compact, and recent reviews repeatedly say the rooms can be very small for two people.

Why it suits this trip

  • About 0.5 km from Liverpool Street station according to the hotel, giving access to the direct matchday rail routes recommended by Tottenham.
  • Walkable to Spitalfields, Brick Lane and Shoreditch for food and drinks after the match.
  • Booking.com coverage is verified and current review evidence is broadly positive for location, cleanliness, staff and value.
  • The sampled rates were materially below many four- and five-star Shoreditch/Liverpool Street alternatives.

Getting to the ground

Not a sensible walk to the stadium. The football-specific advantage is the short walk to Liverpool Street, then direct London Overground to White Hart Lane or Greater Anglia to Northumberland Park. Engineering work can alter the route, so fixture-day travel updates still need checking.

Pubs and the evening

Spitalfields is immediately around the hotel and Shoreditch/Brick Lane are walkable, giving a much stronger post-match food and drink choice than Tottenham Hale.

Arriving by train

Point A states Liverpool Street is about 0.5 km away. Tottenham directs supporters via Liverpool Street for direct Overground trains to White Hart Lane or Greater Anglia trains to Northumberland Park.

The trade-offs

  • Rooms are intentionally compact and some entry-level rooms are windowless.
  • Recent reviews mention thin walls or noise in some rooms.
  • It is not a stadium-area hotel; the convenience depends on rail operating normally on the fixture date.

Research price context

Across the clean non-home-match sample, roughly £138-£239 midweek and £171-£243 at weekends, averaging about £194 and £206 respectively. That is a modest weekend premium in this sample rather than a dramatic one.

Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale

Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale

Tottenham Hale

For supporters who specifically want to stay close to the ground, this is the strongest credible choice found rather than simply the nearest bed. Tottenham's official visitor guidance puts Tottenham Hale about a 25-minute walk from the stadium, and the hotel is beside the station. Recent reviews are markedly more reassuring than the cheaper pub-room stock nearer Seven Sisters.

  • Around one mile from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in current hotel-comparison data.
  • Beside Tottenham Hale station for Victoria line, Greater Anglia and Stansted connections.
The match journey

Trivago currently places the hotel about 1.0 mile from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham's official visiting-supporter guide states Tottenham Hale station is approximately a 25-minute walk from the stadium. The hotel is immediately by the station, so that is the most defensible practical walking estimate.

The trade-off

No verified Booking.com listing was found in the current checks, so this category recommendation does not satisfy the preferred affiliate route.

WHY STAY HERE?

Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale

Tottenham Hale

Our view

For supporters who specifically want to stay close to the ground, this is the strongest credible choice found rather than simply the nearest bed. Tottenham's official visitor guidance puts Tottenham Hale about a 25-minute walk from the stadium, and the hotel is beside the station. Recent reviews are markedly more reassuring than the cheaper pub-room stock nearer Seven Sisters. The trade-off is that Tottenham Hale is a transport hub rather than a destination nightlife base, and Premier Inn did not surface as a verified Booking.com property in the checks.

Why it suits this trip

  • Around one mile from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in current hotel-comparison data.
  • Beside Tottenham Hale station for Victoria line, Greater Anglia and Stansted connections.
  • The stadium can be reached on foot in roughly the same 25-minute window Tottenham publishes from Tottenham Hale station.
  • Recent review evidence is generally positive for beds, cleanliness, staff, breakfast and transport convenience.

Getting to the ground

Trivago currently places the hotel about 1.0 mile from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham's official visiting-supporter guide states Tottenham Hale station is approximately a 25-minute walk from the stadium. The hotel is immediately by the station, so that is the most defensible practical walking estimate.

Pubs and the evening

There are local pubs and places to eat, but this is primarily a practical transport-and-stadium base rather than a London nightlife destination.

Arriving by train

The hotel is by Tottenham Hale station, served by the Victoria line and Greater Anglia. This is especially useful for Stansted Airport and central-London connections.

The trade-offs

  • No verified Booking.com listing was found in the current checks, so this category recommendation does not satisfy the preferred affiliate route.
  • The local evening offer is weaker than Shoreditch/Spitalfields.
  • A minority of recent reviews mention housekeeping/service inconsistency and bathroom or maintenance issues.
  • The dynamic-price evidence available through public indexing was thinner than for the Booking.com-covered primary hotels.

Research price context

Current public price indexing shows the hotel can undercut central London substantially, with forward snapshots of £89 for 2 October and £65 for 25 October, while Trivago was advertising rates from £38. The evidence is too dynamic and incomplete to claim a robust separate midweek/weekend average.

citizenM London Shoreditch

Shoreditch

This is the best choice when the hotel is part of a wider London night out. It sits directly in Shoreditch, close to the area's bars, restaurants and late-night venues, while citizenM says Liverpool Street is a nine-minute walk away. That still gives a sensible matchday route to Tottenham. Current guest scores are strong, especially for staff, cleanliness and location.

  • In the heart of Shoreditch, with far stronger late-night food and drink options than the stadium area.
  • Official hotel information puts Liverpool Street about a nine-minute walk away, preserving the direct matchday rail strategy.
The match journey

Not a sensible walk to the stadium. Use Liverpool Street for the direct rail routes Tottenham recommends, or connect through the wider London network.

The trade-off

Rooms are compact despite the large beds.

Shoreditch

Our view

This is the best choice when the hotel is part of a wider London night out. It sits directly in Shoreditch, close to the area's bars, restaurants and late-night venues, while citizenM says Liverpool Street is a nine-minute walk away. That still gives a sensible matchday route to Tottenham. Current guest scores are strong, especially for staff, cleanliness and location. The main caution is noise: most guests report comfortable stays, but there are credible recent complaints about external nightlife noise and an internal lift chime, so light sleepers should request a quieter room.

Why it suits this trip

  • In the heart of Shoreditch, with far stronger late-night food and drink options than the stadium area.
  • Official hotel information puts Liverpool Street about a nine-minute walk away, preserving the direct matchday rail strategy.
  • Booking.com coverage is verified.
  • Current Booking.com and TripAdvisor reputation evidence is strong for staff, location, cleanliness and comfort.

Getting to the ground

Not a sensible walk to the stadium. Use Liverpool Street for the direct rail routes Tottenham recommends, or connect through the wider London network.

Pubs and the evening

Visit London currently highlights Shoreditch for pubs, cocktail bars, clubs, live music and late-night venues. The hotel is on Holywell Lane beside Shoreditch High Street.

Arriving by train

citizenM states Liverpool Street is about a nine-minute walk away and Shoreditch High Street station is about one minute away.

The trade-offs

  • Rooms are compact despite the large beds.
  • Some recent reviewers report late-night external noise or lift-chime noise; room position matters.
  • Usually more expensive than Point A Liverpool Street on weekdays.
  • It is a lifestyle/nightlife choice rather than a close-to-ground hotel.

Research price context

The sample was unusual but consistent: about £254-£280 midweek, averaging roughly £263, while sampled Saturdays were £167-£187, averaging about £179. In this east-London business/leisure market the sampled weekends were around 32% cheaper than midweek, not more expensive.

YOUR AWAY DAY · Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The ground

Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur

White Hart Lane is remembered for compactness, the Shelf and crowd proximity. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a much larger, steeper bowl whose home-end focus is the single-tier South Stand. It can look and feel highly engineered, but the pitch proximity, cockerel, restored gates and same-site location stop it being culturally interchangeable with a neutral arena.

Recorded capacity
62,850

Views from the away section

Away views are consistently rated excellent.

Supporter observation

Visiting-supporter reviews describe the Tottenham away section as having a very good elevated view from the second tier/corner, even where the overall stadium can feel large and corporate.

Why the ground matters

The ground story is a rare combination of rupture and continuity. White Hart Lane disappeared, but Tottenham did not leave Tottenham: after the Wembley interlude the new stadium occupied the same N17 site. That lets the club physically embed old-Lane objects and stories into a building that otherwise represents a different economic era of football.

Atmosphere & acoustics

Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur

Steep rake and enclosed roof geometry help retain noise.

From the supporters

Supporter observation

Multiple Sunderland visitors after the January 2026 trip described the home atmosphere as flat and felt the away corner can make it harder for visiting noise to carry.

Songs and matchday traditions

'Glory, Glory' — linked by club history to the 1961 Gornik European night

'Oh When the Spurs Go Marching In' — a long-standing terrace standard

'Can't Smile Without You' — adopted into the Spurs songbook

'Ossie's Dream' — Chas & Dave's 1981 cup-era piece, inseparable from the Ardiles/Villa period

European 'Lilywhite nights': players in all white and, in recent European campaigns, supporters encouraged to wear white; this is dormant in 2026/27 because Spurs have no European competition

Big-match flag/tifo culture in the South Stand, often supporter-organised rather than purely club-produced

The north London derby as a date supporters identify before the rest of the fixture list

Food & drink

Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham is easiest if away supporters choose either Liverpool Street or N17 as the meeting point. Liverpool Street gives direct Weaver-line trains to White Hart Lane and has the early-opening Hamilton Hall; for the away end, Northumberland Park is even better placed, about ten minutes from the north-east corner. Visitors use Blocks 114–118 through Entrances 11 and 12 on Worcester Avenue.

Food and drink around the ground

Near the ground, the Beehive and Redemption Brewery Taproom have the clearest current away welcome, with Antwerp Arms another established mixed-supporter choice; most High Road pubs closest to the turnstiles are Spurs territory. Food is unusually good: Chick King is the local ritual, while San Marco, Chuku’s, True Craft and Brown Eagle give proper options on the Seven Sisters/Bruce Grove approach. The away concourse itself has Tap Inns and Touchline Grills.

For overnight stays, Liverpool Street/Shoreditch works for central food and a direct train; Tottenham Hale keeps the final journey short. Coventry on 19 October is a Monday 20:00 kick-off, which rules out some normally useful venues.

The Beehive

One of the clearest current external-pub options for visiting supporters. The venue itself explicitly says it is known for matchdays for both home and away fans, with drinks, burgers and a busy pre- and post-match atmosphere. Recent Spurs-supporter discussions also report seeing away supporters there.

Its own site describes more than a century of filling with Spurs supporters on matchdays, with resident DJs, singalongs and a burger stall in the garden. No.8 Tottenham

No.8 is explicitly marketed by the venue as a Spurs home-match pub, with family-friendly matchdays, live bands, DJs and two beer gardens. A recent independent guide says it is home-only on matchdays, so it should not be treated as an away option without stronger fixture-specific evidence.

Tottenham Hotspur Matchday Fan Zone

Spurs has run official pre-match Fan Zones on the stadium campus during multiple 2026 fixtures, including South Podium and Park Lane Square activations with music, interviews and other entertainment. The evidence does not show a permanent, every-match Fan Zone with fixed hours or a fixed location.

A classic home-supporter pub very close to the stadium.

Planning your arrival

Security screening and controlled pedestrian routes can make the final approach slow.

Rail, Underground & tram

Seven Sisters is about 30 minutes, so it is less convenient unless your route already brings you there. Follow the club's signed routes rather than assuming every exit and approach stays open after the match. Expect managed queues at all four stations after full-time. Check the specific fixture's travel bulletin, particularly for evening matches or engineering works: services, station access and the quickest return can change.

Station to ground & away entrance

Head for Worcester Avenue on the north-east side of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Visiting supporters use Entrances 11 and 12, serving Blocks 114–118, rather than the public entrances along the High Road. Have your ticket ready and allow time for security screening before going to the turnstiles. Northumberland Park is a sensible rail arrival for this side of the ground.

White Hart Lane is closer to the stadium perimeter, but you still need to follow the signed route around to Worcester Avenue; do not assume the five-minute station estimate ends at your away gate. Accessible visiting supporters should use Entrance 11a, where the club provides a lift from street level beside the visiting supporters' matchday ticket office. Keep clear of the cordoned vehicle routes and follow stewards' directions.

Buses & local travel

The free matchday shuttle from Wood Green or Alexandra Palace is useful if your London journey reaches the Piccadilly line or Great Northern network. Buses finish by Haringey Sixth Form College on White Hart Lane, around five minutes from the stadium. Register and obtain the shuttle e-ticket before travelling; free does not mean you can board without one. Tottenham's published plan runs the shuttles from three hours before until two hours after the match.

From Wood Green, use the signed stop near the bus garage; Alexandra Palace departures use Station Road opposite the station. Ordinary TfL buses also serve the area, but routes including 149, 259, 279 and 349 can be diverted when the High Road closes. Do not rely on the regular stadium-side stop immediately before or after a fixture.

Parking

Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur

Book a properly authorised space if you must drive. Do not expect free street parking within a comfortable walk of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: the event-day parking zones, suspended bays and road closures make it a poor gamble. Tottenham itself advises most supporters to use public transport, and there is no general-admission stadium parking. A sensible paid choice is an event-only space at Tottenham Wilbury Primary School on Wilbury Way, Edmonton.

Parking & park-and-ride

It is listed through JustPark, with supporters reporting a walk of about 25 minutes. Book for your actual fixture, read the access instructions and confirm that the approach avoids road closures. A private driveway around Silver Street or Tottenham Hale is another option if its owner can confirm legal access. We could not confirm an unrestricted stretch of Love Lane, Whitehall Street, Park Lane, Worcester Avenue or the residential streets north of the stadium.

Haringey's event-day controls extend into Tottenham and Tower Gardens, while Enfield operates permit zones in South Edmonton and Sunnyside. Arriving before the restrictions start does not give permission to remain parked through them. For a fallback, compare bookable spaces around Tottenham Hale or use rail from farther out. Allow at least five hours' parking for the full visit, including walking both ways, pre-match arrival and getting out.

Do not leave your car in supermarket customer parking for the football: Sainsbury's normal matchday-stay permission and maximum time could not be verified. An authorised booked space is not necessarily accessible once road closures start. Check the precise entrance, any permit provision, and whether you can leave promptly after full-time.

Arrive by — booked space
Follow operator access instructions and aim to park well before the stadium closure period; no universal safe arrival time applies.
Supermarket caveat — Sainsbury’s Northumberland Park
Club describes separately pre-bookable Sainsbury’s satellite parking for eligible Blue Badge supporters; does not establish ordinary customer permission to park for an entire match.
Total dwell time
Plan at least 5 hours for 60–90 minutes before kick-off, roughly two hours of football and stoppages, both walks, and post-match crowds; book longer if meeting friends.
After the match
Cars inside the stadium road closure zone may be unable to depart for at least one hour after the final whistle.

Driving & road restrictions

Avoid driving to the stadium itself. Use N17 0BX to identify the area, not as a destination for a car park: much of Tottenham High Road and the roads around Worcester Avenue are closed to ordinary traffic on matchdays. A pre-booked space must have a route that stays outside the closure boundary. The usual restrictions start on the High Road about two hours before the match and can continue until an hour afterwards.

Worcester Avenue closes earlier, and Park Lane has separate controls. Residents and authorised vehicles have exemptions that do not automatically extend to ordinary football visitors or anyone holding a private driveway booking. If you are arriving from the A406, consider an authorised parking location towards Wilbury Way or Silver Street rather than crossing the stadium perimeter. Check the latest closure map, especially for evening matches and non-football events.

YOUR AWAY DAY · Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Worth knowing

Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur

For an away supporter, the interesting thing is the collision of a very modern stadium with an unusually continuous football location. You are not visiting a club that moved out to a ring-road complex: the new bowl sits inside the streets that generated the club, and many of the little heritage clues are still on the High Road side of the experience.

Matchday features

Safe standing. Exceptional modern concourses. Hearing loops/lowered counters. Steep bowl design

Bags and entry

Check current stadium policy.

The South Stand is the visual counterweight

From the north-east away section the single-tier home end dominates the opposite side of the bowl.

The old ground is absent but not erased

Supporter interpretation

Gates, cockerels, plaques/heritage points and the same-site footprint continually reference White Hart Lane.

The cockerel is everywhere for a reason

Club folklore

It is not just badge decoration: the 1909 sculpture, its replicas and the huge scanned descendant are part of a century-long physical tradition.

Rivalry language is visible before kick-off

An Arsenal visit is not simply another London derby; it is rooted in the geography created by Arsenal's 1913 move north and more than a century of inherited grievance.

Look up at the cockerel

Club folklore

The shape is not merely a new logo sculpture; it carries the scanned imperfections of the old one, plus the Gazza dent story.

Find the gates

The reinstated Bill Nicholson Gates at PAXTON17 are one of the strongest material links with the old entrance ritual.

Walk the High Road with the heritage trail in mind

The founder's house, Nicholson's house, Cockerel Clock, lamp post, Percy House and Warmington House stop the stadium being the only object worth looking at.

Remember what was here before

The nursery origin of White Hart Lane and the nearby Paxton Road engineering works reveal a much more ordinary local landscape beneath the modern stadium campus.

Bill Nicholson Gates

Original gates from the Lane were returned to the campus in 2025.

Old and new cockerels

Club folklore

The roof cockerel is an enlarged scan of the original, while historic cockerels have been retained around the stadium estate.

High Road buildings

Percy House and Warmington House give the stadium edge genuine pre-football architecture rather than a wholly fabricated entertainment district.

Same-site memory

The old Lane and current stadium are different grounds in practical terms, but not different places in the way a suburban relocation would be.

Matchday arrangements can change. Check current club guidance and your ticket before travelling.

Supporter insights combine the site's existing official guidance, supporter-oriented research and fixture checks.

Trains

Rail, Underground & tram

Use White Hart Lane for the shortest walk to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Weaver line runs directly from Liverpool Street, and the ground is around five minutes from the station. Northumberland Park is a useful alternative on Greater Anglia services from Liverpool Street, with a roughly ten-minute walk that can suit the away end.

If you arrive via the Victoria line, Tottenham Hale is around 25 minutes away on foot. Seven Sisters is about 30 minutes, so it is less convenient unless your route already brings you there. Follow the club's signed routes rather than assuming every exit and approach stays open after the match.

Coaches

Away coaches

If you are travelling on an organised away coach, use the club's designated coach arrangements rather than planning a separate drop-off on the High Road. Tottenham identifies Zone A on West Road and Zone B on Brantwood Road for official and unofficial visiting coaches, with signs to the ground.

Coach drivers must obtain a parking permit in advance from Tottenham supporter services. The club may allocate other parks when the away following is large, so your operator's final instructions take priority over an assumed zone.

Confirm your pick-up point and the coach departure time before entering the stadium. Walking routes and road closures can change after the match, and it is better to return directly to the signed coach area than rely on a roadside collection.

Usual coach drop-off and pick-up

After the match

After the match

Expect queues when you leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters all use crowd-management arrangements after games, so a tight connection to a booked long-distance train is risky. Follow the coloured route signs and stewards even if they take you away from your pre-match approach.

If you used a booked driveway or event car park, check whether it sits beyond the stadium road closures before choosing your walking route back. The club warns that vehicles within its closure area may be held for an hour after full-time; a space closer to the ground can therefore be slower to leave.

The free Wood Green and Alexandra Palace shuttles normally run for two hours after the match, subject to fixture arrangements. Leave some time for the queue and confirm the return boarding point before going in.

Station crowd arrangements
Managed queues operate at all four main stations after full-time.
Road-closure departure hold
Vehicle inside closure zone may not leave for about one hour after final whistle.
White Hart Lane queue roads
Love Lane and Whitehall Street may be temporarily closed after matches to accommodate queues.
Shuttle return
Wood Green/Alexandra Palace shuttle service generally for two hours post-match; register and check specific event.

Where to stay

Stay around Liverpool Street or Spitalfields if you want the easiest all-round overnight trip. Liverpool Street has direct services towards both White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park, while nearby streets offer more choice for an evening meal and a drink than the immediate stadium neighbourhood.

Tottenham Hale is useful when a shorter ground journey or convenient Victoria line and Stansted connections matter more than nightlife. It is roughly 25 minutes from the stadium on foot, so you do not need to depend on a taxi or a road affected by closures.

If you stay further west in London, consider the Wood Green or Alexandra Palace shuttle for the match. Confirm the return journey before booking a late train or hotel that relies on changing between several services.

Best all-round base
Liverpool Street/Spitalfields: direct onward services from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park.
Closer rail-connected base
Tottenham Hale: Victoria line and Greater Anglia, approximately 25-minute walk to ground.
Other suitable base by shuttle
Wood Green or Alexandra Palace where travel from hotel supports shuttle use.

Matchday services and parking arrangements can change. Confirm current details before travelling.

PUB / BAR

The Beehive

Stoneleigh Road, London N17 9BQ
Away fans welcomeFood available
BEST FORaway supporters wanting a lively pub · pre- and post-match drinks · food before kick-off
MATCHDAY INTELOne of the clearest current external-pub options for visiting supporters. The venue itself explicitly says it is known for matchdays for both home and away fans, with drinks, burgers and a busy pre- and post-match atmosphere. Recent Spurs-supporter discussions also report seeing away supporters there.
WORTH KNOWINGThe venue says it does not take bookings on event days and operates on a walk-in basis. No current published policy was found confirming whether away colours are accepted, so that remains unknown.
PUB / BAR

Redemption Brewery Match Day Taproom

Unit 16, Compass West Estate, West Road, Tottenham, London, N17 0XL
10 min walkAway access: checkFamily friendly
BEST FORaway supporters · craft beer · Northumberland Park arrivals · families
MATCHDAY INTELA particularly strong visiting-supporter option because Redemption explicitly welcomes away fans and describes the taproom as family-friendly, with beer brewed on site.
WORTH KNOWINGIt opens every weekend Spurs home game but only some midweek games.
PUB / BAR

The Antwerp Arms

168-170 Church Road, Tottenham, London, N17 8AS
9 min walkAway access: checkFamily friendly
BEST FORmixed supporters · real ale · families · community pub
MATCHDAY INTELThe long-established mixed-supporter alternative to the High Road home pubs.
WORTH KNOWINGNormal Mondays are closed except event days.
PUB / BAR

The Beehive

Stoneleigh Road, Tottenham, London, N17 9BQ
10 min walkAway access: checkFamily friendly
BEST FORaway supporters · near-ground pint · burgers · pre-and-post match
MATCHDAY INTELOne of the clearest current external pubs for visitors. The Beehive itself says it is known for matchdays for both home and away fans, with burgers, pints and a busy garden.
WORTH KNOWINGEvent days are walk-in only. No current published policy confirms away colours, and tougher fixtures can still produce tighter door decisions.
PUB / BAR

Hamilton Hall

Liverpool Street Station, Street-level Concourse, City of London, EC2M 7PY
Away access: check
BEST FORLiverpool Street arrivals · large groups · breakfast · central meeting point
MATCHDAY INTELThe simplest central staging point if your group is meeting before the direct train to White Hart Lane.
WORTH KNOWINGIt is not a designated Tottenham away pub and gets very busy. Under-18s are admitted only until 18:00, which matters for evening fixtures.
PUB / BAR

No.8 Tottenham

724-726 High Road, London N17 0AG
Not for away fansFamily friendlyFood available
BEST FORhome supporters · families following Spurs · live matchday entertainment
MATCHDAY INTELNo.8 is explicitly marketed by the venue as a Spurs home-match pub, with family-friendly matchdays, live bands, DJs and two beer gardens. A recent independent guide says it is home-only on matchdays, so it should not be treated as an away option without stronger fixture-specific evidence.
WORTH KNOWINGThere is a current opening-hours conflict: the venue website says it is open Monday-Sunday, while CAMRA's July 2026-updated listing says it opens only on Spurs home matchdays. Check the venue directly before publishing fixed opening information.
PUB / BAR

The Bricklayers Arms

803 High Road, Tottenham, London N17 8ER
2 min walkNot for away fansFood availableNo away colours
BEST FORhome supporters · traditional Spurs pub atmosphere · pre- and post-match drinks
MATCHDAY INTELA classic home-supporter pub very close to the stadium. Its own site describes more than a century of filling with Spurs supporters on matchdays, with resident DJs, singalongs and a burger stall in the garden. Recent independent matchday guides describe it as home-focused and advise away supporters not to use it in colours.
WORTH KNOWINGThe home-only / no-away-colours evidence is current but comes from independent football guides rather than a published venue door policy. Treat it as unsuitable for away supporters unless fresh fixture-specific information says otherwise.

What to eatFried chicken and chips are the point; it is a long-running Spurs matchday ritual rather than a generic chain stop.

The obvious Tottenham food ritual: fast fried chicken almost opposite the ground. Current local and Spurs sources still treat Chick King as part of the N17 matchday landscape.

BEST FORfried chicken · quick food · near-ground stop · matchday tradition
WORTH KNOWINGExpect a queue and do not infer an away-colours policy from it being a takeaway. Current authoritative opening hours were not found.

What to eatTap Inns sell pies, sausage rolls and drinks; away-end Touchline Grills are listed at Block 118 with hot dogs, shawarma wraps and Korean chicken burgers.

A better-than-average away concourse. Spurs confirms both Tap Inns and Touchline Grills in the visiting section, so there is no need to gamble on a home-only pub for food.

0 min walkAway access: checkFamily friendlyAway colours OK
BEST FORlate arrivals · inside-ground food · pies · guaranteed away access
WORTH KNOWINGThe visitors' outlets open two hours before kick-off. Menus are seasonal and can change, so use current stadium screens or the app on the day.

What to eatPizza and classic Italian pasta make it a proper sit-down meal rather than takeaway football food.

A useful calm meal on the walk up from Bruce Grove. Recent Spurs supporters still recommend the family-run Italian for pizza before matches.

WORTH KNOWINGBooking is sensible on busy weekend matchdays.

What to eatNigerian sharing plates including jollof quinoa, suya prawns and plantain waffles; more than half the menu is vegan and gluten-free, with halal meat.

One of the strongest proper-food choices on the Seven Sisters route. It explicitly markets itself for matchday dining and handles groups, families and varied dietary needs well.

What to eatSourdough pizzas, vegan cheese and gluten-free bases, with a constantly changing independent craft-beer line-up.

A good food-and-beer compromise near Seven Sisters: proper sourdough pizza, local craft beer and all-day opening without the home-only matchday identity of the High Road Spurs pubs.

20 min walkAway access: checkFamily friendly
BEST FORpizza · craft beer · vegetarian/vegan · Monday fixture
WORTH KNOWINGNo football-specific away-colours policy was found. It is walk-in only and can fill on matchdays; Monday opening makes it useful for Coventry.

Spurs has run official pre-match Fan Zones on the stadium campus during multiple 2026 fixtures, including South Podium and Park Lane Square activations with music, interviews and other entertainment. The evidence does not show a permanent, every-match Fan Zone with fixed hours or a fixed location.

BEST FORfixture-specific pre-match entertainment
WORTH KNOWINGTreat this as fixture-dynamic. Check the club's match-specific build-up information before surfacing a Fan Zone, and do not assume away supporters, away colours, food or family access unless that fixture's notice says so.
