Match night · 2 guests · 1 room
Point A London Liverpool Street
Spitalfields / Liverpool Street
This is the strongest all-round football-trip base. The important point is not simply that it is in central London: Liverpool Street is one of the stations Tottenham specifically recommends for direct services to White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park. Folgate Street also leaves you on the Spitalfields/Shoreditch edge for food and drinks afterwards, without paying full lifestyle-hotel prices.
- About 0.5 km from Liverpool Street station according to the hotel, giving access to the direct matchday rail routes recommended by Tottenham.
- Walkable to Spitalfields, Brick Lane and Shoreditch for food and drinks after the match.
Not a sensible walk to the stadium. The football-specific advantage is the short walk to Liverpool Street, then direct London Overground to White Hart Lane or Greater Anglia to Northumberland Park. Engineering work can alter the route, so fixture-day travel updates still need checking.
Rooms are intentionally compact and some entry-level rooms are windowless.
Compare live rates and room options for your dates.
Premier Inn London Tottenham Hale
Tottenham Hale
For supporters who specifically want to stay close to the ground, this is the strongest credible choice found rather than simply the nearest bed. Tottenham's official visitor guidance puts Tottenham Hale about a 25-minute walk from the stadium, and the hotel is beside the station. Recent reviews are markedly more reassuring than the cheaper pub-room stock nearer Seven Sisters.
- Around one mile from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in current hotel-comparison data.
- Beside Tottenham Hale station for Victoria line, Greater Anglia and Stansted connections.
Trivago currently places the hotel about 1.0 mile from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham's official visiting-supporter guide states Tottenham Hale station is approximately a 25-minute walk from the stadium. The hotel is immediately by the station, so that is the most defensible practical walking estimate.
No verified Booking.com listing was found in the current checks, so this category recommendation does not satisfy the preferred affiliate route.
Compare live rates and room options for your dates.
citizenM London Shoreditch
Shoreditch
This is the best choice when the hotel is part of a wider London night out. It sits directly in Shoreditch, close to the area's bars, restaurants and late-night venues, while citizenM says Liverpool Street is a nine-minute walk away. That still gives a sensible matchday route to Tottenham. Current guest scores are strong, especially for staff, cleanliness and location.
- In the heart of Shoreditch, with far stronger late-night food and drink options than the stadium area.
- Official hotel information puts Liverpool Street about a nine-minute walk away, preserving the direct matchday rail strategy.
Not a sensible walk to the stadium. Use Liverpool Street for the direct rail routes Tottenham recommends, or connect through the wider London network.
Rooms are compact despite the large beds.

Travel & parking
Driving, parking and rail planning for Brentford supporters travelling to Tottenham Hotspur.
Choose a topic for the full journey advice.
Parking
Driving & road restrictions
Avoid driving to the stadium itself. Use N17 0BX to identify the area, not as a destination for a car park: much of Tottenham High Road and the roads around Worcester Avenue are closed to ordinary traffic on matchdays. A pre-booked space must have a route that stays outside the closure boundary.
The usual restrictions start on the High Road about two hours before the match and can continue until an hour afterwards. Worcester Avenue closes earlier, and Park Lane has separate controls. Residents and authorised vehicles have exemptions that do not automatically extend to ordinary football visitors or anyone holding a private driveway booking.
If you are arriving from the A406, consider an authorised parking location towards Wilbury Way or Silver Street rather than crossing the stadium perimeter. Check the latest closure map, especially for evening matches and non-football events.
- Ground sat-nav reference
- Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, 782 High Road, London N17 0BX; not a public car park destination.
- Tottenham High Road closure
- Generally between White Hart Lane and Lordship Lane/Lansdowne Road from two hours before kick-off until up to one hour after, subject to command decisions.
- Worcester Avenue restriction
- Closure from 8am on matchdays; parking suspended.
- Park Lane restriction
- Closure from around three hours before kick-off with suspended bays, under club local arrangements.
- After-match directional controls
- Leeside Road eastbound and Willoughby Lane northbound for one to two hours after the match.
- Pedestrian and taxi drop-offs
- Taxi/private-hire drop-off should be at least 15 minutes on foot from stadium, not inside closures.
Parking & park-and-ride
Book a properly authorised space if you must drive. Do not expect free street parking within a comfortable walk of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: the event-day parking zones, suspended bays and road closures make it a poor gamble. Tottenham itself advises most supporters to use public transport, and there is no general-admission stadium parking.
A sensible paid choice is an event-only space at Tottenham Wilbury Primary School on Wilbury Way, Edmonton. It is listed through JustPark, with supporters reporting a walk of about 25 minutes. Book for your actual fixture, read the access instructions and confirm that the approach avoids road closures. A private driveway around Silver Street or Tottenham Hale is another option if its owner can confirm legal access.
We could not confirm an unrestricted stretch of Love Lane, Whitehall Street, Park Lane, Worcester Avenue or the residential streets north of the stadium. Haringey's event-day controls extend into Tottenham and Tower Gardens, while Enfield operates permit zones in South Edmonton and Sunnyside. Arriving before the restrictions start does not give permission to remain parked through them.
For a fallback, compare bookable spaces around Tottenham Hale or use rail from farther out. Allow at least five hours' parking for the full visit, including walking both ways, pre-match arrival and getting out. Do not leave your car in supermarket customer parking for the football: Sainsbury's normal matchday-stay permission and maximum time could not be verified.
An authorised booked space is not necessarily accessible once road closures start. Check the precise entrance, any permit provision, and whether you can leave promptly after full-time.
- Parking verdict
- Booking advisable if driving; no named free street verified for all-day football parking within a 20–30 minute walk.
- Legal restrictions — Worcester Avenue
- Closed from 8am on matchdays with parking bay suspensions.
- Legal restrictions — Love Lane and Whitehall Street
- Parking bays suspended on event day and roads used for White Hart Lane station post-match queues.
- Legal restrictions — Tottenham Event Day / Tower Gardens
- Historic published event-day controls Mon–Fri 17:00–20:30 and Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays 12:00–20:00; other ordinary CPZ controls may additionally apply; check latest signs.
- Legal restrictions — Enfield South Edmonton / Sunnyside
- Event-day CPZ hours 12:00–21:00; permit required for resident bays.
- Matchday availability — free residential streets
- Not established; club discourages driving and event-day zones cover many streets, with no verified legal free bay identified.
- Paid fallback — Wilbury Primary School
- Tottenham Wilbury Primary School (Events only), Wilbury Way, Edmonton, offered for pre-booked match/event parking on JustPark; availability and price depend on date.
- Walk — Wilbury Primary School
- Around 25 minutes to stadium reported by customers; not an independently measured walk to away entrances 11–12.
- Paid alternative — private driveways
- Reserve legal off-street space around Silver Street, Wilbury Way or Tottenham Hale; confirm closure-free access and no permit-bay substitution.
- Booking recommendation
- Book a specific dated parking product, verify driveway ownership/visitor permits, closure-safe approach and departure terms; a listing is not proof of road exemption.
- Arrive by — booked space
- Follow operator access instructions and aim to park well before the stadium closure period; no universal safe arrival time applies.
- Supermarket caveat — Sainsbury’s Northumberland Park
- Club describes separately pre-bookable Sainsbury’s satellite parking for eligible Blue Badge supporters; does not establish ordinary customer permission to park for an entire match.
- Total dwell time
- Plan at least 5 hours for 60–90 minutes before kick-off, roughly two hours of football and stoppages, both walks, and post-match crowds; book longer if meeting friends.
- After the match
- Cars inside the stadium road closure zone may be unable to depart for at least one hour after the final whistle.

Matchday advice: Book a properly authorised space if you must drive. Do not expect free street parking within a comfortable walk of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: the event-day parking zones, suspended bays and road closures make it a poor gamble.
Trains
Rail, Underground & tram
Use White Hart Lane for the shortest walk to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Weaver line runs directly from Liverpool Street, and the ground is around five minutes from the station. Northumberland Park is a useful alternative on Greater Anglia services from Liverpool Street, with a roughly ten-minute walk that can suit the away end.
If you arrive via the Victoria line, Tottenham Hale is around 25 minutes away on foot. Seven Sisters is about 30 minutes, so it is less convenient unless your route already brings you there. Follow the club's signed routes rather than assuming every exit and approach stays open after the match.
Expect managed queues at all four stations after full-time. Check the specific fixture's travel bulletin, particularly for evening matches or engineering works: services, station access and the quickest return can change.
- Best rail arrival
- White Hart Lane (London Overground Weaver line) from London Liverpool Street.
- Alternative rail arrival
- Northumberland Park (Greater Anglia) from London Liverpool Street; convenient approach to north-east away section.
- White Hart Lane walk — stadium
- About 5 minutes; may take longer to reach away entrance 11/12 on Worcester Avenue.
- Northumberland Park walk — stadium
- About 10 minutes; matchday pedestrian diversions can extend it.
- Tottenham Hale walk — stadium
- 25
- Seven Sisters walk — stadium
- 30
- White Hart Lane step-free
- National Rail category A with step-free access to all platforms; check live lift status.
- Northumberland Park accessibility qualification
- National Rail currently lists category B3 rather than unrestricted access to every platform.
- Tottenham Hale step-free
- National Rail currently lists category A for the rail station; check Victoria line connections and lifts separately.
- Event-specific disruption
- No unspecified fixture disruption presumed: review latest Tottenham matchday travel bulletin.
Station to ground & away entrance
Head for Worcester Avenue on the north-east side of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Visiting supporters use Entrances 11 and 12, serving Blocks 114–118, rather than the public entrances along the High Road. Have your ticket ready and allow time for security screening before going to the turnstiles.
Northumberland Park is a sensible rail arrival for this side of the ground. White Hart Lane is closer to the stadium perimeter, but you still need to follow the signed route around to Worcester Avenue; do not assume the five-minute station estimate ends at your away gate.
Accessible visiting supporters should use Entrance 11a, where the club provides a lift from street level beside the visiting supporters' matchday ticket office. Keep clear of the cordoned vehicle routes and follow stewards' directions.
- Away stand
- North-east corner, Blocks 114–118; accessible Block 234.
- Away entrances
- Entrances 11 and 12 via Worcester Avenue.
- Accessible away entrance
- Entrance 11a, with adjacent street-level lift.
- Security
- Airport-style security and bag checks; turnstiles open two hours before kick-off under current visiting guide.
- Approach from stations
- Follow signed pedestrian routes to Worcester Avenue; club station-to-stadium walks are not precise away-gate walks.

Coaches
Away coaches
If you are travelling on an organised away coach, use the club's designated coach arrangements rather than planning a separate drop-off on the High Road. Tottenham identifies Zone A on West Road and Zone B on Brantwood Road for official and unofficial visiting coaches, with signs to the ground.
Coach drivers must obtain a parking permit in advance from Tottenham supporter services. The club may allocate other parks when the away following is large, so your operator's final instructions take priority over an assumed zone.
Confirm your pick-up point and the coach departure time before entering the stadium. Walking routes and road closures can change after the match, and it is better to return directly to the signed coach area than rely on a roadside collection.
- Usual coach drop-off and pick-up
- Zone A West Road or Zone B Brantwood Road for visiting coaches.
- Coach permit
- Every official or unofficial coach driver needs a Tottenham coach parking permit; request from supporterservices@tottenhamhotspur.com.
- Allocation caveat
- Additional coach parks can be used for larger visiting allocations.
Buses
Buses & local travel
The free matchday shuttle from Wood Green or Alexandra Palace is useful if your London journey reaches the Piccadilly line or Great Northern network. Buses finish by Haringey Sixth Form College on White Hart Lane, around five minutes from the stadium. Register and obtain the shuttle e-ticket before travelling; free does not mean you can board without one.
Tottenham's published plan runs the shuttles from three hours before until two hours after the match. From Wood Green, use the signed stop near the bus garage; Alexandra Palace departures use Station Road opposite the station.
Ordinary TfL buses also serve the area, but routes including 149, 259, 279 and 349 can be diverted when the High Road closes. Do not rely on the regular stadium-side stop immediately before or after a fixture.
- Free matchday shuttles
- Wood Green (Piccadilly line) and Alexandra Palace (Great Northern); register for an e-ticket.
- Shuttle hours
- Usually from three hours before kick-off until two hours after the match.
- Wood Green boarding
- High Road near the bus garage, at rail-replacement stop approximately 60 metres from the station.
- Alexandra Palace boarding
- Station Road opposite the station entrance.
- Shuttle stadium drop-off
- Outside Haringey Sixth Form College, White Hart Lane; club describes around 5 minutes on foot to stadium.
- Bus routes affected by closures
- 149, 259, 279 and 349 can take matchday diversion routes.
- Tottenham Hale premium shuttle
- Not operational on matchdays under club’s current guide.
Accessibility
We have not published detailed advice for this topic yet.
After the match
After the match
Expect queues when you leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. White Hart Lane, Northumberland Park, Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters all use crowd-management arrangements after games, so a tight connection to a booked long-distance train is risky. Follow the coloured route signs and stewards even if they take you away from your pre-match approach.
If you used a booked driveway or event car park, check whether it sits beyond the stadium road closures before choosing your walking route back. The club warns that vehicles within its closure area may be held for an hour after full-time; a space closer to the ground can therefore be slower to leave.
The free Wood Green and Alexandra Palace shuttles normally run for two hours after the match, subject to fixture arrangements. Leave some time for the queue and confirm the return boarding point before going in.
- Station crowd arrangements
- Managed queues operate at all four main stations after full-time.
- Road-closure departure hold
- Vehicle inside closure zone may not leave for about one hour after final whistle.
- White Hart Lane queue roads
- Love Lane and Whitehall Street may be temporarily closed after matches to accommodate queues.
- Shuttle return
- Wood Green/Alexandra Palace shuttle service generally for two hours post-match; register and check specific event.
Where to stay
Stay around Liverpool Street or Spitalfields if you want the easiest all-round overnight trip. Liverpool Street has direct services towards both White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park, while nearby streets offer more choice for an evening meal and a drink than the immediate stadium neighbourhood.
Tottenham Hale is useful when a shorter ground journey or convenient Victoria line and Stansted connections matter more than nightlife. It is roughly 25 minutes from the stadium on foot, so you do not need to depend on a taxi or a road affected by closures.
If you stay further west in London, consider the Wood Green or Alexandra Palace shuttle for the match. Confirm the return journey before booking a late train or hotel that relies on changing between several services.
- Best all-round base
- Liverpool Street/Spitalfields: direct onward services from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park.
- Closer rail-connected base
- Tottenham Hale: Victoria line and Greater Anglia, approximately 25-minute walk to ground.
- Other suitable base by shuttle
- Wood Green or Alexandra Palace where travel from hotel supports shuttle use.

Tottenham is easiest if away supporters choose either Liverpool Street or N17 as the meeting point. Liverpool Street gives direct Weaver-line trains to White Hart Lane and has the early-opening Hamilton Hall; for the away end, Northumberland Park is even better placed, about ten minutes from the north-east corner. Visitors use Blocks 114–118 through Entrances 11 and 12 on Worcester Avenue. Near the ground, the Beehive and Redemption Brewery Taproom have the clearest current away welcome, with Antwerp Arms another established mixed-supporter choice; most High Road pubs closest to the turnstiles are Spurs territory. Food is unusually good: Chick King is the local ritual, while San Marco, Chuku’s, True Craft and Brown Eagle give proper options on the Seven Sisters/Bruce Grove approach. The away concourse itself has Tap Inns and Touchline Grills. For overnight stays, Liverpool Street/Shoreditch works for central food and a direct train; Tottenham Hale keeps the final journey short. Coventry on 19 October is a Monday 20:00 kick-off, which rules out some normally useful venues.

Food & quick bites
Where to grab a bite, have a proper meal or try the local matchday favourite.
Chick King
The obvious Tottenham food ritual: fast fried chicken almost opposite the ground. Current local and Spurs sources still treat Chick King as part of the N17 matchday landscape.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Away Concourse
A better-than-average away concourse. Spurs confirms both Tap Inns and Touchline Grills in the visiting section, so there is no need to gamble on a home-only pub for food.
San Marco Ristorante Pizzeria
A useful calm meal on the walk up from Bruce Grove. Recent Spurs supporters still recommend the family-run Italian for pizza before matches.
Chuku's
One of the strongest proper-food choices on the Seven Sisters route. It explicitly markets itself for matchday dining and handles groups, families and varied dietary needs well.
True Craft Tottenham
A good food-and-beer compromise near Seven Sisters: proper sourdough pizza, local craft beer and all-day opening without the home-only matchday identity of the High Road Spurs pubs.
Tottenham Hotspur Matchday Fan Zone
Spurs has run official pre-match Fan Zones on the stadium campus during multiple 2026 fixtures, including South Podium and Park Lane Square activations with music, interviews and other entertainment. The evidence does not show a permanent, every-match Fan Zone with fixed hours or a fixed location.
Bruce Burgers
A substantial sit-down burger option away from the most crowded High Road strip. It covers meat, halal, vegetarian and vegan choices and is on the Bruce Grove approach.
Brown Eagle Tottenham
A genuine local alternative almost opposite the turnstiles. The menu gives you proper Caribbean food rather than generic stadium fare, and it is open on Mondays.
